Oh, I love my life!
Does it sometimes seem like you’re at the wrong place at the wrong time?
When I woke up this morning I set my intention to do a yoga class and give my body the well-deserved exercise.
As soon as I stepped into the class, I wondered what was going on. Everybody had their mats in a different direction than normal. I did not recognize any of the people who were there. And even the teacher was different.
I rolled out my mat and it felt so weird. Why was everything so different today?
It took me awhile to come my senses. It was NOT Friday but Thursday! I doubted my sanity.
There were 15 – minutes left in this senior stretch class. I felt so disappointed. No exercise for me today.
Because I was barefoot I was not prepared to use any of the machines our gym offers.
Here’s why I am sharing this story:
the choice to stay and do a workout in my white flip flops. Of course, it looked really weird but I was like what the heck…I want to complete my intention from this morning.
Here’s the thing:
Most of the circumstances aren’t perfect and yet we can still make the choice to take action anyway.
My questions for you:
What isn’t perfect in your life and what feels like you’re not exactly prepared for it?
Or, you feel the timing isn’t right?
Let’s play and keep your intention.
Take action and do it anyway.
- Your house might be a mess but invite your friends over for dinner anyway.
- You didn’t have much time for your kids; take them for an ice cream tonight.
- You don’t want to call your friend because it’s not the right time, do it anyway.
- You want to write a blog-post but can’t find the perfect photo, who cares. Write it.
- You forgot to buy cilantro and cashew nuts for your Thai dinner, pretend it wasn’t part of it.
- You want to call your LOVE but don’t know if it’s the right time, call anyway.
- You know you have a calling but think you must wait till the right time. Nonsense.
- You can fill in the blanks here…
Life is too precious to wait for the right time, the perfect moments. It’s here now.
Say it: “Oh I love my life!“
The Universe responds really well to this saying
And… you can never be at the wrong place at the wrong time…
