Lets talk about going after your dreams. Do you dare to follow the whispers of your Soul?
I am a big dreamer. My husband is a big dreamer. And our kids believe in BIG dreams, too. Much bigger ones than I do…
Sometimes I wonder if our life would have been easier if we had raised them differently. If we had stayed in Holland.
If we had not gone after our dream of going to America. I would not be here, and everything would have turned out very differently for all of us.
It was risky. OMG! Following your Calling always feels daring.
What if I had believed everyone around us who told us we were crazy to move?
What would have happened if I had let doubt and uncertainty rule my mind?
NOTHING!
Truth to be told: life doesn’t get easier when you ignore your deep calling. It gets harder. A lot harder. Waiting for the right time never comes.
Look at the animal kingdom. Imagine if they waited to pursue their calling?
That’s why I want to give you and your family a jump-start and ignite the passion of your calling.
First:
Write down your dream. What do you want?
Ask your kids about their dreams too. You can easily teach them this jump-start technique below.
It saves all of you a lot of work and ” DOING.”
With this exercise you let the Universe do the heavy lifting.
Second:
Here’s a jump-start to the Law of Attraction:
When you hold a pure thought for 17 seconds, you create momentum for another same kind of feel-good thought to join in, which equals 2,000 action hours!
When the next 17 seconds joins in, you create even more momentum. It ten-folds every time you pass the 17 seconds, and thus it equals 20,000 action hours!
Imagine what happens if you get to 64 seconds.
EVERYTHING!
Here’s how we manifested our house in America.
I’ll still make a short-cut in the story but you will get the best part of it.
Every night when I brought our kids to bed I fantasized with them about living in America, about living in “our house.” In detail I had them describe their room. I asked about where their bed was, what color the curtains would be, what kind of carpet, what we would hang on the walls, and where they would like their toys to be stored.
I kept all five of them fantasizing for at least ten minutes or longer. Can you imagine how powerful that is?
On the mantel of our fire place was a photo of our house, and daily I would project myself sitting on the porch. I would smell the salty ocean air and hear the waves crash ashore. I was there. Already living in our house.
While driving to Amsterdam I would imagine I was on the I-128 to Boston (ignoring the cows and the mills).
It was magical. The Universe lined up. But here’s the most important thing: We took action on this dream.
That’s why our dream came true.
Do you feel an itch in your Soul after reading this? Get into action.
